Rebate Requirements
All requirements listed below must be met to receive a rebate.
- Rebates are available for Wisconsin residents only.
- Heat pump water heater must be purchased on or after September 30, 2025 to be eligible for a post purchase rebate.
- Heat pump water heaters must be ENERGY STAR certified.
- 120V and 240V units are eligible.
- New construction projects must use 240V units.
- Heat pump water heaters replacing an existing heat pump water heater are not eligible.
- Heat pump water heaters replacing an existing electric resistance tank water heater are eligible.
- Qualifying products must be ENERGY STAR certified and legal for distribution in the United States at the time of purchase.
- The rebate may not be combined with other promotions or discounts. Limit of $14,000 in HEAR rebates and/or coupons per home address.
- Once an application is approved, the rebate must be used within 60 days.
